When women lead, systems change. That belief fuels our return to Women Founders & Funders Singapore on 5 November, during Singapore International Agrifood Week. This isn’t just an event; it’s a movement that celebrates female-led innovation, the power of collective impact, and the urgent need to build regenerative food systems and resilient economies.
Expanding the Momentum
Last year, over 180 leaders joined us, with 35% being investors. This year, we’re expanding that momentum and opening applications to agrifoodtech entrepreneurs raising Seed or Series A rounds. We’re seeking founders who combine innovation, commercial strength, and a deep commitment to sustainability. We especially welcome those advancing diversity and equity in food and climate tech.
The Importance of Female Inclusion
Pitchbook reports that in 2024, female-inclusive founding teams raised 27% more capital than in 2023. Yet, valuation gaps persist. It’s clear: the road to equity demands more than metrics. It demands bold platforms for visibility, trust, and connection.
“Pitching was a powerful reminder: when we invest in women, we invest in the future.” — Christiana Zhu, Founder & CEO of Marvelous Foods 美苗食品 and Women Founders and Funders alum.
A Fertile Ground for Innovation
Singapore offers fertile ground for purpose-driven ventures expanding across Asia. With mentorship, pitch coaching, and direct access to investors, corporates, and media, this program is more than recognition; it’s a launchpad for enduring change.
Join the Movement
🔗 Founder applications close Sunday, 31 August 2025, at midnight SGT.

Let’s build a future where innovation thrives because inclusion leads. 💡
The Future of Agrifoodtech
As we look toward the future, the agrifoodtech sector stands at a pivotal moment. The challenges we face—climate change, food security, and social equity—demand innovative solutions. Women are at the forefront of these solutions, driving change through creativity and resilience.
The Role of Women in Leadership
Women leaders bring unique perspectives that can transform industries. Their experiences shape their approaches to problem-solving and innovation. By fostering an environment where women can thrive, we not only empower individuals but also strengthen entire communities.
Building Networks of Support
Creating networks of support is crucial for women in agrifoodtech. These networks provide resources, mentorship, and opportunities for collaboration. They help women navigate the complexities of entrepreneurship and investment, ensuring that their voices are heard.
The Impact of Collective Action
Collective action amplifies the impact of individual efforts. When women come together, they can share knowledge, resources, and strategies. This collaboration fosters a culture of support and empowerment, essential for driving systemic change in the agrifoodtech sector.
Conclusion
In conclusion, the Women Founders & Funders movement is more than an event; it’s a call to action. Together, we can create a future where women lead the way in innovation and sustainability. Join us in this journey and be part of a transformative movement.
