Singapore to Host Entrepreneurs from 50 Countries for New Global Climate Innovation Summit

The inaugural Climate Innovation Summit Singapore will bring together the people, partnerships and practical pathways needed to move climate solutions from proof of concept to proof of value. The summit will be anchored by the ClimateLaunchpad Global Grand Final, the world's largest green business ideas competition, now in its 13th year, and the PepsiCo Greenhouse Program APAC 2026 Showcase: IMPACT edition.

Singapore, Wednesday 8 July, 2026 – Better Earth Ventures has announced the inaugural Climate Innovation Summit Singapore, taking place from 13 to 15 October 2026, bringing together climate entrepreneurs, investors, corporates, policymakers and ecosystem leaders from around the world.

Designed as a summit for people building climate solutions, the three-day programme will offer practical support through founder roundtables, one-to-one mentor matching, strategic introductions and honest conversations between entrepreneurs and customers about what it really takes to commercialise climate innovation.

What makes the summit distinctive is that it brings together every stage of the climate innovation journey under one roof. From early-stage founders testing new ideas to startups exploring commercial partnerships, the summit provides practical insight into what it takes to turn climate innovation into real-world impact.

"We spend a lot of time celebrating breakthrough ideas and successful scale-ups, but much less time talking about what it actually takes to move from proof of concept to proof of value," said Rebecca Sharpe, Founder and Director of Better Earth Ventures. "How do founders secure their first pilot? How do they demonstrate value to customers? How do they navigate procurement processes, enter new markets and build the partnerships that enable growth? Our summit is designed to bring together the people who can help answer those questions."

Throughout the summit, those early-stage entrepreneurs will join investors, corporates, policymakers and fellow founders in programming designed to help move promising ideas towards implementation, tackling topics such as market access, fundraising, customer discovery and the lessons learned by founders who have successfully navigated the path before them.

A key highlight of the summit will be the ClimateLaunchpad Global Grand Final, hosted in partnership with Better Earth Ventures and outside Europe for the first time in the competition's 13-year history. The world's largest green business ideas competition shines a spotlight on the ingenuity, optimism and determination of the next generation of green businesses emerging around the world. This year's cohort represents the most competitive open call in ClimateLaunchpad history, with 4,150+ applications from 50 countries.

“For thirteen years, ClimateLaunchpad has given climate entrepreneurs a place to test their ideas, sharpen their pitch and find the people who believe in what they're building. Now in its 13th year, the competition has grown alongside a whole generation of green businesses, and this year's record cohort with over 4,150 applications from 50 countries, shows that potential is only accelerating. Bringing the Global Grand Final to Singapore with Better Earth Ventures for the first time creates an opportunity to connect some of the world's most promising innovators with the wider ecosystem that can help transform ideas into action. That's why we're proud to co-organise the Climate Innovation Summit Singapore alongside the Global Grand Final, bringing our finalists into three days of founder roundtables, mentor matching and partner programming built to carry their ideas well beyond the stage.“ said Alexandros Nikopoulos, ClimateLaunchpad Programme Lead.

ClimateLaunchpad is powered by Climate KIC, Europe’s leading climate innovation agency, catalysing climate action through innovation, radical collaboration, and place-based approaches - with the support of Bank of America and Irish Aid. The Global Grand Final will bring together leading climate entrepreneurs from 50 countries, making Singapore a meeting place for the next generation of climate innovators.

The inaugural Climate Innovation Summit Singapore will also feature the PepsiCo Greenhouse Program APAC 2026: IMPACT Edition as a programme partner, bringing a practical focus on startup and corporate collaboration in climate innovation across the food and beverage value chain.

The PepsiCo Greenhouse Program APAC is designed to connect selected startups with PepsiCo teams to explore potential applications of emerging solutions in areas related to agriculture, climate and circularity. The 2026 IMPACT Edition includes a stronger focus on operational considerations and implementation feasibility as part of the programme engagement process.

The summit will also include an invitation-only PepsiCo Greenhouse Program APAC 2026: IMPACT Edition Showcase, featuring selected startups from the programme.

From the founder delivering their very first global pitch, to the entrepreneur sitting across the table from a multinational corporation discussing what it would take to bring their solution to millions of people, the Climate Innovation Summit Singapore tells the story of climate innovation in all its complexity and possibility.
